At Holistic Womyn's Counselling, we believe that everyone has the ability to lead a happy and fulfilling life. Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that mental and emotional well-being are integral to overall health, and that therapy can be a powerful tool for achieving this balance.

We offer a variety of counselling services to meet the unique needs of our clients, including individual therapy, couples counselling, and group therapy and retreats. We also offer specialized services such as Logotherapy, Reiki, Dream therapy, Meditation and relaxation therapy. Life and career coaching from high school to retirement.

Holistic Womyn's Counselling adopts a client-cantered approach, working collaboratively with our clients to identify their goals and develop a customized treatment plan. We also place a strong emphasis on building a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship, team building and team relationships.

Family is key to my happiness and success

I am a mother of 7 children, 6 grown up now (three of which are triplet boys) and 3 grandchildren. I was and am a single working mother who loves all of my work and family life. I have worked with thousands of women and children over my career, experienced the trials which so many have had to live through. Sadly domestic violence is not uncommon in todays families and while I have not had that in my own personal life I have had a lot of experience with it in my professional life. Today's families come in all shapes and sizes with their own unique challenges. I came out as a Lesbian 25yrs ago, my family are all very supportive and are a testimony to the one clear fact that love does not discriminate. I am a dedicated Logotherapist and passionately believe in the power of meaning in ones life.

Young people are given so much advice as they are just starting out in the adult world. They are hit with meams all over the internet, given throw away catch phrases like 'do what you love' 'you do you' etc. All of this is overwhelming and has no meaning... it's all an Empty Box. The Empty Box Program (copyright) is a flagship program Holistic Womyn's Counselling is currently birthing.

Bumper sticker advice: You do you, do what you love, and you will never work a day in your life, Let them, don't quit believe in yourself, life is tough but so are you, believe and it will happen.... What actual advice is this really? How does this help a young person about to embark upon their adult life?

Finding Meaning and Purpose in your life is a journey; It begins with discovering the reasons you make the choices you do along the path. R.M.P Program (copyright) is another of our flagship programs being birthed and will soon become available.

Reason

why do we choose what we do? What is the reason we choose or not choose anything? This is a key element of this program.

Meaning

Based upon Logotherapy, we look at what meaning is and how to discover it for yourself. Meaning is something which is missing in so many lives and the lack of it affects everyone no matter their status, demographic or financial situation. Learning how to discover meaning unique to you is another key element in this program.

Plan or Process

If you are one of the great many whom get overwhelmed by the thought of making a plan, going through a process which will enable you to move forward in your life; Then this program is for you.

Helpful Information

Confidentiality

All counselling sessions are confidential with minimal records being kept and locked. However, there are my limits of confidentiality. If it is stated during a counselling session that; there is a risk of harm or threat to life; or when there is threat of harm to a minor or harm to a minor. Your records are also able to be subpoenaed by a court of law in Australia. I work within the Privacy Act Guidelines of the Privacy Act 1988 Amended 2000.

Intake Form

This will be emailed to you prior to your first session, please read and fill out carefully, sign the form and send it back.

Payments

Invoice will be issued with intake form.

Payment must be made in full prior to first session.

A receipt will be issued once payment has been cleared.

Acknowledgment to Country

Holistic Womyn’s Counselling acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which I work and live, and recognize their continuing connection to land, water and community. I pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
